The Fishing Cats of Fort d’Auvergne (and other tales)  was written by our founder and Co-ordinator Dave Cabeldu MBE as a means of raising funds for SOSJ.

This delightful book recounts Dave’s early years growing up on the beaches of our south east coast and includes many humorous observations of life at that time. The book also contains many unseen historical photos, many contributed by local photographers.
